They are rapidly digitizing their massive archive of television programs, and will soon be streaming them to a library near you. The pilot affords us access to the online database of 15,000 hours—–yes, that’s 15,000 hours!—-of programming from the entire history of television. The pilot runs through the Fall semester, and is available through terminals in the central campus libraries and the satellite libraries in Communications and Screen Arts. Curator Ron Simon is visiting Ann Arbor to introduce us to the good work of the Paley Center.
